Fund visited KDIC

Specialists from the fund participated in the Global Training Program (GTP) in Seoul, South Korea. KDIC (Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation) organizes a training event every year on the areas related to deposit insurance and this year, they have invited specialists from the Fund of Guarantee Citizens’ Deposits in Banks to take part in the event as the bond between organizations grew stronger. This year’s GTP, which took place at the end of October, focused on the “Effective Resolution of Problematic Financial Institutions “and consisted of speakers from various organizations and countries to present the topic from different perspectives. Upon the conclusion of the event, participants were given certificates of completion.

During the same period, the Director of the fund Nodir Abosov visited KDIC to sign a secondment agreement to second an employee from KDIC to FBOKF in the upcoming year. The Director also had a private meeting with the Executive Director and the Chairman of KDIC to discuss the financial situations in their countries and possible projects between the organizations, similar to a secondment agreement, which would be beneficial to both organizations.
