Fund participated in the IADI EARC annual meeting in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

In the period of 28-30 June, Delegates from the Fund of Guarantee Citiziens’ Deposits in Banks led by Director Nodir Abbosov participated in the 2023 IADI Eurasia Regional Committee Annual Meeting and International Workshop dedicated to the implementation of differential premium systems.

Various organizations from different regions shared their experiences, in particular challenges, with implementing a differential premium system. The advantages and disadvantages of this system were discussed in depth as well as the type of environment and macroeconomic factors needed to be in place to implement it.

During the event, Fund also signed Memorandums of Understanding with the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia, the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the National Deposit Insurance Fund of Hungary to further boost the cooperation level with these organizations.
