Digital Transformation has been Launched in the Deposit Guarantee System!

From November 18 to 21 of this year, a delegation of representatives from the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) and the Korea IT Consulting Company (KITC) visited the Deposit Guarantee Agency of Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the visit was to conduct practical negotiations on creating the future digital infrastructure of the deposit guarantee system in our country, as well as to determine priority tasks for the successful implementation of the project.

It is important to note that the project is being implemented with financial support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

During the visit, the Korean delegation held meetings with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan, the KOICA representative office, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Main Information Technology Center.

The negotiations covered issues related to creating a modern IT platform in the field of deposit guarantee, developing its architecture and feasibility study, as well as conceptual solutions for integration into work processes. In addition, the parties agreed on preparing the Main Project Plan (ISMP), conducting necessary research, and defining key tasks for the initial implementation phase.

This visit and the negotiations that took place became an important step toward transitioning Uzbekistan's deposit guarantee system to a fundamentally new format—a digital, efficient, and transparent management platform. The IT infrastructure being created will contribute to even more reliable protection of depositors' rights, process automation, and enhanced overall system efficiency.

The Agency will continue to regularly inform the public about the progress of work in this direction.
